Thaller Takes a Little from Smolka
Level 31
: Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Daniel Thaller made it 4,000,000 to go with K♥K♣ on the button and Dawid Smolka defended his big blind with 8♥5♥.
Both players checked the 3♦5♠4♠ flop to see the 9♥ roll off on the turn. Smolka led out for 4,000,000, and Thaller called.
Smolka slowed down and checked on the K♦ river, prompting Thaller to bet 15,000,000. Smolka instantly folded and Thaller won the pot.
