Aleksei Mospanov got his last 50,000 into the middle preflop with Mikhail Veselov making the call to try and bust him.

Mospanov had become very short so needed his ace-high to hold to begin his comeback in the Main Event. However, the runout of K♣J♥3♣K♥J♠ left Mospanov drawing dead on the turn, as Veselov’s trip kings sent him to the rail.

Dubanov Pressures His Opponent Out

Vladislav Dubanov raised to 12,000 from under the gun with only the player in the big blind making the call.

On the 9♠9♥4♦ flop, the big blind player checked, and Dubanov put out a bet of 11,000. After a few moments, Dubanov's opponent called.

The action checked to Dubanov again on the Q♠ turn, and he put out a big bet of 50,000. The big blind player eventually folded, and the pot was pushed to Dubanov.

Chernikov Rivers a Straight and Gets Paid

Mohamed Mokrani came in with a raise to 10,000 from the cutoff. Aleksandr Chernikov called from the small blind, and Antonio Alfaia defended his big blind.

The action checked to Mokrani on the J♠K♠8♠ flop, and he put out a continuation-bet of 15,000. Chernikov called, but Alfaia folded.

Both players checked the 5♥ turn to see the 10♦ land on the river. Chernikov quickly led out for 31,000, causing Mokrani to go into the tank. After burning through one of his time bank cards, Mokrani mae the call.

Chernikov flipped over Q♥9♠ for a rivered straight. It was enough to win him the pot, as Mokrani slid his cards face down to the dealer.

Dmitry Gromov fired out a bet of around 25,000 on the turn with the board showing 8♥10♥Q♥5♦. Gromov's opponent called from early position.

The river came the 3♥ and both players checked. The early position player showed 10♣9♣ for a straight, but lost the pot to Gromov's flopped flush with J♥7♥

The flop came down 4♦10♥7♠ and Chilaud check-called a bet of 18,000 from his opponent.

The 4♣ landed on the turn and Chilaud led out for 18,000. Chilaud's opponent called.

Both players checked the 5♠ river and Chilaud took down the pot with A♥4♥ for trip fours.
