When it folded to Zorlu Er in the small blind, he raised to roughly 360,000 with just Adrian State to get through in the big blind. State made the call with only around 240,000 remaining in his stack.
Both players checked the 9♦2♦6♦ flop to see the A♥ roll off on the turn. Er bet enough to put State all in, and State went into the tank. After burning through around five of his time bank cards, State made the call.
Adrian State: K♠8♦
Zorlu Er: J♥5♠
State was ahead with king-high and just had to fade a jack or five that wasn't a diamond to double. The river was the 5♦ to give State a flush, and he earned the much-needed double-up on one of the first hands on Day 3.

Samantha Lake opened to 240,000 from the cutoff before Milad Oghabian Langar three-bet to 630,000 out of the big blind. Lake made the call.
Langar continued with a bet of 230,000 on the K♠9♣7♣ flop and Lake instantly called.
The Q♣ turn caused Langar to slow down and check. Lake fired 500,000, and after a few moments, Langar called.
Langar checked for the last time on the 4♥ river, and then folded after Lake put out a bet of roughly 1,000,000.

Alexandru Lupuleac got his last 1,450,000 into the middle preflop from the cutoff, after Natan Chauskin min-raised from middle position. After the rest of the table folded, Chauskin called and the cards were revealed.
Alexandru Lupuleac: A♦10♦
Natan Chauskin: K♣K♠
Lupuleac needed to find an ace or some diamonds if he was to make his second major final table at the 2025 MPP. The board ran out K♥J♥4♣7♠5♣ to give Chauskin the best hand with a set of kings, sending Lupuleac to the rail.
