Mustafov Doubles Through Razavi

Level 5 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante
Melika Razavi
Melika Razavi

The board read {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} with 51,700 in the middle already.

Fahredin Mustafov had 31,000 from the small blind and Melika Razavi was considering her options from the hijack. After a while, Razavi opted to shove having Mustafov covered. Mustafov snap-called.

Fahredin Mustafov: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Melika Razavi: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Mustafov had two pair with the eights on the board and the queens in his hand while Razavi had flopped trip eights.

The river completed the board with the {q-Diamonds} to give Mustafov the full house to double up. The dealer counted out Mustafov's stack and determined he had 131,900 behind. After paying Mustafov, Razavi was left with less than 30,000.

Cooler Between Prior and Riess

Level 5 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante
Daniel Prior
Daniel Prior

Daniel Prior was kind enough to tell the PokerNews live reporting team about a cooler that had happened between him and Ryan Riess earlier:

Riess had opened from the hijack and Prior three-bet on the button with {a-}{k-} while Riess held {10-}{10-} suited.

The flop came {a-}{10-}{4-} rainbow, Riess check-called Prior's continuation-bet.

The turn was a {k-} and Riess check-called again.

The river completed the board with the {9-} (no flush), Riess checked, Prior continued with another bet and now Riess shoved with the bigger stack. Prior snap-called with the turned two pair and doubled Riess up as he had flopped a set of tens.

Karlic Shoves on Petkov

Level 5 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

Lachezar Petkov raised to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Levan Karamanishvili in the lojack. Gerald Karlic three-bet to 10,500 from the hijack and action folded back to Petkov who called, so did Karamanishvili.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, both Plesuv and Karamanishvili checked quickly. Karlic continued with a bet of 18,000 which only Petkov called.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, Petkov checked again and now Karlic shoved. Petkov asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Karlic had 74,100 behind. Petkov dived into the tank long enough to get the clock called on him. The floor came over and gave Petkov 30 seconds to take a decision. On the count of three, Petkov opted to fold.

Three Takes From Lykov

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Maxim Lykov raised to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by the player in the early position and John Three on the button.

They all checked through the {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} to the {3-Hearts} on the turn. Lykov bet 4,500 and the player in the early position folded while Three raised to 11,500 which Lykov called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades} and now Lykov checked. Three bet 17,500 and Lykov called after contemplating his options for a bit but mucked when Three tabled {9-Spades}{5-Spades} for the rivered flush.
