Ahuja Cools Off Bonnant to Send Him to the Rail

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ankit Ahuja
Ankit Ahuja

The action folded to the cutoff where Clement Bonnant sat in the tank for about 30 seconds before moving all in. It folded to Ankit Ahuja in the big blind who got a count and then flicked in a call to put Bonnant at risk.

Clement Bonnant: AJ
Ankit Ahuja: A8

Bonnant was a huge favorite as they headed to a flop. The dealer burned and turn the 2104 board and suddenly Bonnant was not a huge favorite anymore. The 7 turn was clean but the 7 river would give Ahuja the nut flush to send Bonnant to the rail.

Papapetrou Gets One Through

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Yiannakis Papapetrou opened in middle position to 55,000. The next player to act was Yunsheng Sun who put in a three-bet to 125,000. It folded all the way back to Papapetrou who called and they were off to a flop heads up.

The 3x4x9x rainbow flop landed and action checked to Sun who continued for 80,000. The action was then back on Papapetrou who sat in the tank for a moment and then announced he was all in. Sun seemed to not have a ton to go with as he folded pretty quickly.

Papapetrou smiled as he tabled A8 for just ace-high. He may have been bluffing with the best hand or he might have gotten a big bluff through. Either way he scooped the pot to stay alive late in Day 3.

Some More Recent Eliminations in the Money

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ghazarian Springs the Trap

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Harout Ghazarian opened in early position to 50,000 before Yunsheng Sun called on the button and both of the blinds called.

The 3AJ flop landed and action checked all the way to Sun on the button who put out a wager of 105,000. The blinds folded and then action was back on the preflop raiser, Ghazarian, who went into the tank before putting in the check-raise to 275,000.

Sun mulled it over but eventually thought better of putting in more chips and mucked.

Ghazarian scooped a solid pot with little resistance.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of 67697 and roughly 250,000 already in the middle, Ivan Govorov bet 150,000 from the big blind and was called by Hadi Khadra who was in middle position.

Govorov tabled 98 for a better two pair than the one on the board and Khadra's hand hit the muck.

Yurasov Doubles; Burneikis Left With Crumbs

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Dmitry Yurasov opened in early position to 40,000 and only got called in one spot by Vladas Burneikis in the small blind.

The 936 flop landed and Burneikis check-called a 45,000 continuation bet from Yurasov.

The 2 rolled off on the turn and Burneikis checked again. Yurasov sat in the tank for a moment before announcing he was all in. Burneikis didn't think for long before flicking in a call and putting Yurasov at risk.

Dmitry Yurasov: A9
Vladas Burneikis: K6

Burneikis needed some help but the 10 river did not bring it. Yurasov doubled and Burneikis was left with just 1.5 big blinds.
