Yossi Eluz

Straight after Volkov increased his lead, Dominik Panka opened once again to 1,000,000, this time from the cutoff. In the big blind, Yossi Eluz shoved with 4,550,000 chips, and Panka called.

Yossi Eluz: A10
Dominik Panka: JJ

Eluz still had a few outs for him after the flop 97Q and the turn K. But the river was the 8, and he was eliminated in 10th place, winning $42,900. He became the bubble boy of the final table of this Main Event.

Nice Bluff By Volkov

Level 36 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Shortly after the break, Dominik Panka raised from the button to 1,000,000 and was called by Ruslan Volkov. In the big blind, David Hu called as well, and a KA7 flop appeared on the felt.

The blinds checked and let Panka bet 1,150,000. However, Volkov and Hu kept calling.

The K came on the turn, and Volkov took the lead, betting 3,500,000 chips. With A5, Hu eventually folded. Panka couldn’t do something different because he only had 75. What they didn't know is that Volkov, with Q10, only had a straight draw.

Hu Folds Ace-King Preflop

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

On the feature table, the two chipleaders kept fighting. Ruslan Volkov initiated the action with an open to 1,100,000. Seated to his left, David Hu three-bet to 4,000,000, and the big blind folded.

With the action back to him, Volkov thought about his decision for a few seconds and four-bet to 9,000,000.

Next to him, Hu used a time bank, then a second one, and eventually folded AK. The stream revealed that Volkov had 22.

Double Up For Svesko

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

After an open by Michel Atallah in the hijack, Nenad Dukic three-bet in the cutoff. Then on the button, Darko Svesko four-bet all in for 5,275,000 chips. Atallah eventually folded what he said was AxQx, and Dukic called.

Darko Svesko: JJ
Nenad Dukic: 1010

Svesko was lucky enough to have a set on the flop JA3 to secure his double up. It was close because a 10 landed on the turn to give a set to Dukic too. The 4 completed the board.
