Michalak Bluffs the Chip Leader

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Heads-up on a board of {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, start-of-day chip leader Chakib M'hiri bet 11,000 from the big blind and Jakub Michalak called in the hijack.

The river came the {j-Clubs} and M'hiri slowed down and checked. Michalak tossed out two green 25,000 chips for a bet of 50,000, sending M'hiri into the tank for around three minutes before he folded.

Michalak turned over {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for a bluff as he took the pot. "I know. I know. I was that close," M'hiri said following the hand.

"That's why I bet so much. Twenty-five you call," Michalak replied.

The flop came {4-}{8-}{5-}, the turn was the {10-} but the river was the {q-} to bust Ustimov and give Butans yet another pot as his Day 2 has started off very well by busting multiple players.

"Seat open" called the dealer, "No table open!" said one of his tablemates, joking that he wanted a table change before Butans continued his recent knockout spree on more victims.
