Batbold Has Aydemir Guessing

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Recep Aydemir
Recep Aydemir

With around 60,000 in the pot, Recep Aydemir bet 20,000 from early position on a flop of {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Zolbayar Batbold, in the cutoff, then raised to 57,000.

Aydemir spent a moment in the tank before calling. The turn came the {j-Diamonds} and Aydemir checked over to Batbold, who continued with 56,000.

Aydemir tanked again for several moments before deciding to fold. "Show the bluff," he said after the hand, but Batbold returned his cards face down.

"Flush draw," Aydemir asked as Batbold shook his head.

Hasbani Shoves in Five-Way Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Andrew Hulme raised to 15,000 from early position and received four callers, including Alexander Lakhov in late position and Antoine Hasbani in the big blind.

The {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop was checked around before Hasbani led out for 45,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn. Only Hulme called to see the {k-Diamonds} river.

"74," Hasbani said, putting the rest of his 74,000-chip stack in the middle. Hulme spent some time in the tank before giving up his hand.

Shteyn Gets Away as Guven Busts Trofimov

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Akin Guven bet 25,000 from the hijack on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Anatoly Shteyn called in the cutoff. From the small blind, [Removed:510] shoved for 225,000.

Guven asked for a count before calling Trofimov's shove. Shteyn then spent several minutes in the tank before he slid his cards back to the dealer.

Trofimov had top pair with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, but Guven had him out-kicked with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Trofimov hit the rail.

"Dragos, Dragos, Dragos," Shteyn repeated after the hand, still thinking about his fold.

Hulme Bets Big on the River, Crosses Million Mark

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Andrew Hulme and Nariman Yaghmai were heads-up on a board of {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts} when Hulme, from under the gun, bet 37,000.

Yaghmai called in the hijack to see the {8-Spades} river. Hulme this time assembled a bet of 250,000 and slid it into the middle. Yaghmai spent several minutes in the tank before giving up his hand and the pot to Hulme, who with that pot has joined the million-chip club.

Segal's Boat Sends Petleshkov Away

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Maxime Chilaud raised to 12,000 from early position before Viliyan Petleshkov moved all in for 117,000. Omer Segal, on the button, then reshoved and Chilaud got out of the way.

Viliyan Petleshkov: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Omer Segal: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Segal took a big lead in the hand on the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, making top set while Petleshkov was on a straight draw. The {10-Spades} on the turn improved Segal to a full house and left Petleshkov drawing dead and getting out of his seat before the {q-Diamonds} appeared on the river.

Aristotelos Goes Runner-Runner to Double

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Katherina Aristotelos
Katherina Aristotelos

Katherina Aristotelos and Hassan Barakat saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} when Aristotelos got her last 250,000 in the middle from the big blind.

Barakat, in early position, had her at risk with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a flopped set, while Aristotelos showed {j-Spades}{8-Spades} for top pair and a flush draw.

Aristotelos didn't hit her flush, but she did catch the {j-Clubs} on the turn and {8-Diamonds} on the river to make a running full house as the table let out a collective gasp.
