Burlacu Finds an Ace to Double
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Robert Burlacu moved all in for 840,000 on the button and Nicolo Bartolone called under the gun.
Robert Burlacu: A♦10♣
Nicolo Bartolone: Q♠Q♥
Burlacu had run into Bartolone's queens and was at risk of elimination until the flop brought A♥J♥5♠, giving him top pair. The rest of the board came 8♦2♥ and Burlacu doubled up.
Burlacu's countryman Andrei Spataru had no such luck, however, as he was recently eliminated.
