Ludovic Periaux opened from early position and Igor Abelmasov called in the cutoff before big-stacked Mukhtor Nasiradinov made it 16,000 from the button. Periaux folded, but Abelmasov came along.
They saw a flop of 9♦7♠5♠ where Abelmasov checked in flow and Nasiradinov fired out 15,000. Abelmasov called.
A 5♥ on the turn paired the board and again Abelmasov checked it over, then Nasiradinov continued to fire with a bet of 30,000. After thinking for a while, Abelmasov elected to fold, and Nasriadinov got a little richer.

With around 30,000 chips in the pot on a board of 6♠2♥4♣10♥, Serge Ward in the big blind checked it over to Aleksandr Kirichenko in the under-the-gun position, who bet 8,500. Ward then check-raised to 26,000, and Kirichenko called.
They saw the 2♠ drop on the river and Ward fired out a bigger bet of 40,500. Kirichenko went into the tank and took a lot of time to think it over before he eventually called.
Ward then showed a boat with 10♣2♣, and Kirichenko shook his head and mucked. With just 10,000 chips remaining after the hand, Kirichenko lost the rest of them to Daniyar Aubakirov in the next hand.
