Banksy Wins Another Battle

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Banksy has been deep in the trenches today and has constantly put his opponents in awkward spots, with the latest hand being no exception.

The action was picked up on the turn with the board reading 8Q93 and Oleg Svintsov checking from the small blind. Banksy then fired 23,000 out of the big blind, and Svintsov called.

A fourth club, the 2, dropped on the river and Svinstov knuckled the table before Banksy quickly threw out a bet of 55,000. Svintsov went into a daze and after around a minute, he elected to fold.

"Do you want to see or not?" asked Banksy. "Do you even care?" he added. Svintsov remained quiet but nodded his head and was offered a chance to pick one of Banksy's cards. The Russian player took the opportunity and flipped the 5 as Banksy raked in the pot.

Quinn Leads the Turn

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Edward Quinn
Edward Quinn

Edward Quinn has slowly gone about his business today and despite not being seen in any big pots, he has chipped his way up to a stack of over 200,000.

In the latest hand he played, Quinn opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet from the next seat to 13,000. The big blind called, as did Quinn.

On the 6K3 flop, it checked to Mustafov, who continued for 9,000. Both the big blind and Quinn called to see the K pair the board on the turn. Quinn took the opportunity to lead out for 19,000, and earned himself the pot as both of his opponents quickly folded.

Cvetkovic Claims His Pot...Eventually

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a board of Q43Q, Andrija Cvetkovic had checked it over to Kadir Altinbasak on the button, who bet 37,500. Cvetkovic had around 45,000 total and instead of committing it all, he just called.

An 8 landed on the river and Cvetkovic immediately moved his last 7,000 into the middle, which Altinbasak quickly called.

Cvetkovic then showed a flush with KK, which beat the trips of Altinbasak, who showed KQ. However, Cvetkovic was made to feel a bit uneasy as the dealer mucked his cards and was getting his seat card ready to give to the floor, thinking he had been eliminated. The situation was soon corrected as the table pointed out that Cvetkovic had a flush, and the pot was pushed to its rightful owner.

Crisis averted!

Michalak Forces a Fold From Tamasauskas

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Jakub Michalak
Jakub Michalak

With around 24,000 in the middle on a Q34A board, Jakub Michalak checked from the big blind and Vladas Tamasauskas bet 6,000 from under the gun. Michalak then raised to 21,000, and Tamasauskas called.

A 2 on the river brought in the front door flush draw, and Michalak put in a white chip, worth 25,000, and announced a bet of what sounded like 16,000. Tamasauskas went into the tank and despite the fact he was getting a good price, he made the fold.

After the hand had finished, Michalak offered Tamasauskas the chance to see one, and he flipped the 6.
