Aleksandr Kirichenko came in with a raise to 45,000 from under the gun. Batyrkhanov called from middle position and Alexandru Cinca defended out of the blinds.
Kirichenko put out a continuation-bet of 4,500 on the 7♣2♣J♦ flop and only Batyrkhanov called.
The 4♦ turn caused Kirichenko to slow down and check. Batyrkhanov now took the betting lead by sliding out 11,500 into the middle. Kirichenko thought it over briefly before folding and forfeiting the pot to Batyrkhanov.
