Haghgou Seyedahmad had his stack of around 20,000 in the middle preflop from the big blind and had two callers in Viktor Iarilov from early position and Banksy, in the small blind.
On the A♠K♠2♣ flop, Iarilov fired out a bet of 15,000, which got Banksy to quickly fold.
Haghgou Seyedahmad: A♦10♠
Viktor Iarilov: K♥10♥
Seyedahmad had the lead and would triple up if he could avoid a king on the runout. No surprises came when the 3♥6♦ filled out the board, and Seyedahmad got back in the game.
The Main Event continues its surge as Day 1c reaches 126 entries, officially surpassing last year’s 123-entry mark. With 99 players still in their seats, the flight is now closing in on the 135 entries from 2023, which remains the number to beat.
With registration still open and more late entries expected, the Main Event is on pace for another massive turnout, keeping the dream alive for those chasing poker glory.
Oleg Svintsov just gave a chunk of his stack over to Dmitry Gromov after the two tangled in a pot.
On a flop of J♣Q♦6♠, there were already around 60,000 chips in the pot when Svintsov bet 37,000, leaving himself just over 40,000 behind. Gromov then ripped in his stack of around 80,000, which gave Svintsov a decision for the rest of his stack. After thinking it over, Svintsov decided to fold, and Gromov took the pot uncontested.

There was an open from the cutoff to 2,500 and Jakub Michalak three-bet to 12,500. The cutoff the min four-bet to 20,000, and Michalak called.
Michalak then went into check-call mode twice, first on the 4♠8♣4♦ flop when the cutoff bet 10,000, then again on the Q♥ turn when the cutoff fired 16,000.
An A♥ dropped on the river and this time the action went check-check, then Michalak showed A♠K♦ for a rivered pair of aces to scoop the pot.
The Carmen Series Main Event continues to gain momentum as Day 1c surpasses 100 entries, with 110 so far and 92 players still in their seats. While the flight still has time to grow, it's currently tracking behind the 123 entries from last year’s Carmen Series and the 135 entries from 2023. Nonetheless, with four levels still to go in the day, there is still plenty of time for the Day 1c participants to swell.
