Adil Tlimisov made it 3,000,000 from under the gun, leaving himself just 50,000 behind. Damir Zhugralin then shoved the button, and when it got back to Tlimisov, he called.

Cedric Schwaederle shoved from under the gun for 1,125,000 and Khalil Jabra called from the next seat.

Schwaederle was behind, but took the lead on the Q♥8♠7♦ flop with a pair of eights. However, his lead didn't last long as the 9♠ turn put Jabra back in front with one card to come.

Despite being left with just 400,000, Gerard Carbo Santamaria managed to double up twice in quick succession and got his stack back to 2,500,000.
Then, Adem Agoudjil made it 425,000 from the hijack and Santamaria shoved the big blind for 2,300,000. Agoudjil didn't like it, but stuck in the call.
