Sanli Leaves Santamaria With Crumbs

Mahmut Sanli opened the cutoff to 400,000 and Gerard Carbo Santamaria three-bet from the big blind to 1,075,000. Sanli called.

They saw a flop of Q♠A♠5♣, where Santamaria bet 400,000 and Sanli called to the K♣ turn. Santamaria sized up with a bet of 1,450,000, and again Sanli called.

When the 8♦ hit the river, Santamaria bet 2,050,000, leaving himself just 400,000 behind. Sanli went into the tank and with around 3,000,000 behind, he had a big decision for the majority of his stack. Four time banks later and with just a few seconds left of the countdown, Sanli called.

Santamaria confidently showed K♦Q♥ for two pair, but Sanli rolled over A♦Q♣ for a better two pair to take the pot.

Parahat Nurmuhammedov opened to 400,000 from the cutoff and Damir Zhugralin called in the big blind.

They went to a flop of K♣5♣K♥, where Zhugralin checked and Nurmuhammedov bet 350,000. Zhugralin then raised to 1,550,000, and Nurmuhammedov called.

A K♠ on the turn put three kings on board, and Zhugralin went with a small bet of 700,000, which Nurmuhammedov called to see the Q♦ on the river. With just over 3,000,000 behind, Zhugralin shoved. Nurmuhammedov had around 2,700,000 in his stack and burned through three time banks before he eventually called.

Zhugralin then showed quads with K♦J♠, and Nurmuhammedov's full house with Q♣10♣ went into the bin.
