Yankov Gets Lin to Six-Bet Jam Drawing Thin

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

It had been around one hour since Ren Lin doubled up with pocket aces against the pocket kings of Krasimir Yankov.

Lin started this hand with a raise under the gun before Yankov three-bet to 180,000 from the hijack. When it got back to Lin he four-bet to 280,000. Yankov took a while before he clicked it back to 380,000. Lin thought briefly, then six-bet all in for around 1,000,000. Yankov called and asked Lin, "Same again?"

Ren Lin: AQ All in
Krasimir Yankov: KK

Lin was making a move, and this time it was Yankov who had the best hand. However, Lin just had to hit an ace to double up, and leave Yankov with just over ten big blinds.

The 5QJ flop gave Lin a few more outs to stay alive. The 4 turn meant Lin was one card away from elimination. A 2 appeared on the river, and Lin wished Yankov and the other players good luck as he headed to the cashier's desk.

Sibgatova Escapes Elimination Again

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alisa Sibgatova
Alisa Sibgatova

Alisa Sibgatova already found a three-outer today to survive, and just came from behind again to keep herself in contention.

She shoved from early position for 270,000 and Gabriel Akiki called on the button.

Alisa Sibgatova: K10 All in
Gabriel Akiki: KJ

Sibgatova's situation wasn't looking good, but the 52Q flop gave her a flush draw. A K on the turn gave both players top pair, but it was a spade or a ten that Sibgatova needed to win, plus a few outs could chop.

The Q wasn't one of the chop cards, though, as Sibgatova made a flush to double up in the last level of the night.

Zheng Keeps Reraising Grummitt

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Paul Grummitt opened from early position to 80,000 and Xiaosheng Zheng three-bet to 225,000 from the next seat.

"Why do you reraise me every time?" asked Grummitt to Zheng while the other players were still to act.

When it did get back to Grummitt, he called to see the 45J flop. After checking it over to Zheng, Grummitt folded to a bet of 130,000 from his opponent.

Yilu Yuan
Yilu Yuan

Yilu Yuan jammed under the gun for 275,000 and only Krasimir Yankov called from the next position.

Yilu Yuan: 77 All in
Krasimir Yankov: AJ

Yuan found himself in a flip with pocket sevens against the ace-jack of Yankov. Yankov missed the 510Q43 runout entirely, and Yuan doubled up.
