Zurr Pulls a Rabbit Out of the Hat to Survive

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shai Zurr
Shai Zurr

Shai Zurr just found running cards to survive in the Main Event!

Milos Miskovic opened the hijack to 25,000 and Zurr shoved 325,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Miskovic, he confirmed the count and tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Shai Zurr: AQ All in
Milos Miskovic: 99

It was a flip that Zurr needed to win, but that seemed extremely unlikely after the JJ9 flop gave Miskovic a full house.

Just as Zurr was about to stand up, the J turn opened up a pathway to survival as any ace, queen, or jack would see him make the best hand. One of those cards landed on the river as the Q improved Zurr to a bigger full house, ensuring his miraculous survival.

Barun Bubbles the Main Event After Brutal River Card

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mihael Barun
Mihael Barun

While the action was paused, just before hand-for-hand officially started, Mihael Barun jammed under the gun for 147,000. Milos Miskovic made the call from the button, and once the floor staff came over to announce the action, the cards were revealed with Barun at risk of bubbling.

Mihael Barun: AA All in
Milos Miskovic: 1010

Barun was one of the shortest stacks left in the tournament and was in a great spot to double up and give himself a great shot of making the money.

The dealer fanned out the flop of 664, keeping Barun's bullets in the lead.

A 2 came on the turn, offering Miskovic a flush draw and a few more outs to win the pot.

The brutal 10 rolled off on the river, giving Miskovic a boat, and Barun was the bubble boy for the €1,650 Main Event.

Barun left with nothing and the remaining 63 players were all in the money, with at least €2,400 locked up.

Todorevic Collects the Last of Yilmaz's Stack

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Vedat Yilmaz
Vedat Yilmaz

Vedat Yilmaz shoved around 55,000 from the cutoff and was called by Milos Todorevic on the button.

Vedat Yilmaz: A2 All in
Milos Todorevic: J10

Yilmaz was in the lead with ace-high, but that didn't last long as the K1010 flop gave Todorevic trips. Running aces is what Yilmaz needed, but that didn't happen as the 49 runout meant he was eliminated.

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With the elimination of Amirmohammad Davoodi, there are now 65 players remaining in the Main Event.

Only 63 players will be paid, which means it's now bubble time.

Abelmasov Avoids the Rail

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Igor Abelmasov
Igor Abelmasov

IIor Abelmasov raised to 24,000 under the gun and Danilo Razic three-bet from middle position to 40,000. Vedat Yilmaz cold four-bet to 65,000 from the cutoff, and when it got back to Abelmasov, he five-bet shoved for 252,000. Razic folded and Yilmaz called for the majority of his stack.

IIor Abelmasov: AK All in
Vedat Yilmaz: QJ

With a spot in the money just a few spots a way, Abelmasov just needed his ace-high to hold up to stay alive.

Neither player improved on the 99624 runout and Abelmasov earned the double-up through Yilmaz.

Beumelburg Falls to Hasbani

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Lennart Beumelburg
Lennart Beumelburg

Lennart Beumelburg moved all in for 105,000 from middle position and Grigoli Liklikadze called in the cutoff. Antoine Hasbani was in the small blind and moved all in for a little over 600,000, which got Liklikadze to reluctantly lay it down.

Lennart Beumelburg: J10 All in
Antoine Hasbani: AK

"Well, I'm more live that I thought I was going to be," joked Beumelburg.

The dealer then put out a flop of 786, which gave Beumelburg a few more outs with a gutshot. However, the Q6 runout wasn't what Beumelburg was after, which left him out just a few spots off the money.
