Pano Hits the Road

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jean-Baptiste Pano
Jean-Baptiste Pano

When it folded to Jean-Baptiste Pano in the small blind, he shoved for 129,000 with just Chady Ojeil to get through in the big blind. Ojeil gave it some thought before slamming in the call to put Pano at risk.

Jean-Baptiste Pano: J10 All in
Chady Ojeil: K10

Pano was in terrible shape against the king-ten of Ojeil, and he began pleading with the dealer to give him a jack.

The dealer didn't comply as the board ran out AA278, keeping Ojeil's king-high in the lead and Pano was out.

From the cutoff, Nazar Buhaiov raised to 20,000 and only Charbel Salloum called from the big blind.

Salloum chose to lead out for 14,000 when he saw the K107 flop. Buhaiov just called.

A 6 on the turn, and Salloum led out again, this time for 10,000. Buhaiov raised to 25,000, and Salloum snap-jammed for about 130,000. Buhaiov quickly folded and surrendered the pot to Salloum

Sibgatova Misses Her Flush to Bust

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alisa Sibgatova
Alisa Sibgatova

Three players saw a flop of J66 fall. Chady Ojeil checked from the small blind, and Alisa Sibgatova jammed for around 85,000 from the big blind. Giorgiy Skhulukhiya made the call from middle position, and Ojeil folded.

Alisa Sibgatova: Q10 All in
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: QJ

Skhulukhiya was ahead with top pair, and he just had to avoid a heart to bust Sibgatova.

The 4 arrived on the turn and Sibgatova was one card away from elimination. The dealer burned a card, then peeled off the 10 on the river, improving Skhulukhiya to an unnecessary flush.

Sibgatova was out, while Skhulukhiya's stack grew to almost a million.

Milicevic is Kyte's Kryptonite

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jon Kyte
Jon Kyte

After some raising back and forth preflop, Jon Kyte's stack of around 150,000 got into the middle with Srdan Milicevic trying to bust him.

Jon Kyte: JJ All in
Srdan Milicevic: 88

Just a few hands ago, Milicevic had come from behind versus Kyte, when he ripped it all-in with ace-jack, and managed to find a favorable runout to beat the pocket queens of Kyte. That hand kept in the tournament, he now had to do it again, if he was to send Kyte home.

The dealer fanned out the 78Q flop, propelling Milicevic into the lead with a set of eights. Kyte wasn't able to find a set on the 3 turn or 7 river, and the remainder of his stack was sent over to Milicevic.
