Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Yuxi Huang
Yuxi Huang

Yuxi Huang raised to 360,000 from the hijack, leaving herself with just 5,000 behind. Sergey Moiseev called from the small blind before Aleksei Gortikov jammed from the big blind for around 1,300,000. Moiseev folded, and Huang called off her last chip.

Yuxi Huang: A7 All in
Aleksei Gortikov: AJ

Gortikov was ahead with ace-jack, and Huang needed to improve to stay alive as the last remaining female player in the Main Event field.

The board ran out J53A9, leaving Huang drawing dead on the turn, and her chips were pushed in Gortikov's direction.

King High Wins at Showdown, Dmitrii Nazarov Eliminated

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Dmitrii Kravchenko limped in from the small blind and called when Miroslav Rizov raised to 250,000 in the big blind.

Kravchenko check-raised on a 21010 flop, making it 400,000 after Rizov had bet 125,000. Rizov called the raise.

The 2 joined the board, and Kravchenko bet another 400,000. Once again, Rizov called before the 9 river checked through.

Kravchenko tabled 75 and was playing the board. Rizov was guaranteed half the pot, but took it all with his KQ.

On a neighbouring table, Dmitrii Nazarov was eliminated.

Bezhanyan Dusts Off 'Assorio'; Orman Busts Okolovich

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Iurii Okolovich

A pot of around 1,100,000 had already developed between Aren Bezhanyan in the small blind, 'Assorio' in middle position, and Selahaddin Bedir on the button.

Most of 'Assorio''s stack had gone into the middle preflop, and he had just 10,000 remaining as the dealer spread the 655 flop. Bezhanyan checked, 'Assorio' committed his last few chips, and Bedir raised to 200,000. Bezhanyan called, creating a side pot between himself and Bedir.

The 7 turn checked through before the K completed the board. Bezhanyan then bet 455,000, forcing Bedir to fold.

Bezhanyan pulled in the side pot and tabled KQ for king-high. 'Assorio' couldn't beat it with Q10, and he became the latest player to head to the rail.

At a nearby table, Iurii Okolovich was seen leaving the tournament area after his AxKx was second best to the 7x7x of Leonid Orman on a board of K875A.

Mustafov Keeps His Seat With a Flip

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov got his stack of roughly 1,000,000 into the middle from the blinds, with Selahaddin Bedir making the call from late position in an attempt to send him to the rail.

Fahredin Mustafov: 33 All in
Selahaddin Bedir: KQ

Mustafov's pocket threes were up against the two overcards of Bedir, and the small pair held up on the 4101026 runout to earn Mustafov the double-up.

Sharky
Sharky

'Sharky' and Nicolas Chouity got all of their chips into the middle preflop, with both players short-stacked and 'Sharky' the one at risk.

'Sharky': QQ All in
Nicolas Chouity: A4

'Sharky''s queens remained ahead on the K78 flop, but the A turn changed everything as Chouity paired his ace to take the lead.

The 6 river was no help, and 'Sharky' headed to the payout desk.

Jontulovic Runs Into Aces and Out of Chips

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

'Kenar' raised to 160,000 in the hijack, and Bogdan Jontulovic defended his big blind.

On a K38 flop, Jontulovic checked and faced a 125,000 bet from 'Kenar'. Jontulovic then check-raised, getting his full stack of 415,000 into the middle, and 'Kenar' put him at risk.

Bogdan Jontulovic: K9 All in
Kenar: AA

The A turn ended the contest, as Jontulovic was drawing dead before the 4 had even completed the board.

Danilov Felts Khamatgareev

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ravil Khamatgareev
Ravil Khamatgareev

Ravil Khamatgareev jammed for 580,000 from middle position, and Anton Danilov called from the big blind to put him at risk.

Ravil Khamatgareev: K3 All in
Anton Danilov: A10

Danilov's ace-high was ahead, and he needed to avoid Khamatgareev connecting with the board to score the knockout.

The flop came AK5, helping both players, but Danilov remained in front.

The 7 turn and 6 river changed nothing, and Khamatgareev became the latest casualty of the Main Event.
