Tulepbergenov Doubles Up, With Some Help From a Friend

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Before Azamat Tulepbergenov looked at his hand, he showed his cards to a friend sitting at an adjacent table who told him to go all in. Tulepbergenov then shoved all in for 175,000 as action folded to Hadar Hason in the cutoff, who reshoved. The rest of the table got out of the way.

Azamat Tulepbergenov: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Hadar Hason: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Tulepbergeneov had woken up with kings and stayed in front on the {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} board to double up. After the hand, some of his tablemates questioned whether his friend had touched the cards.

"That would be illegal," one player said.

"I swear I didn't touch the cards," Tulepbergenov's friend replied.

Liperis Doubles His Short Stack

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michele Guerrini raised to 6,000 from middle position and was called by a player in the hijack as action folded to Yiannis Liperis in the small blind. Liperis, down to his last 14,000 moved all in.

Guerrini then reraised to 45,000 and the cutoff folded to leave him and Liperis heads-up.

Yiannis Liperis: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Michele Guerrini: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}

Both players hit an eight on the {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop, but Liperis was still ahead with his ace-kicker. The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and the player in the cutoff flung his arms in the air in frustration at the sight of the ace on the river as Liperis stayed alive.

Aboudi Denied a Double as Pustula Spikes the Turn

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ido Aboudi was all in for 22,000 before Jacek Pustula reshoved for his last 53,000. The rest of the table got out of the way as they went heads-up.

Ido Aboudi: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Jacek Pustula: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop gave Pustula both straight and flush draws, and while he didn't complete them on the turn, he did hit the {a-Hearts} to make a pair of aces. The river came the {7-Hearts}.

"Good luck, everyone," Aboudi told his tablemates on his way to the exit.

Angelov Out-Kicks Khouzami For a Double

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Boris Angelov bet 45,000 from under the gun and big blind Anthony Khouzami called.

The river came the {7-Spades} and Khouzami checked over to Angelov, who this time slid forward his entire stack of 143,500. Khouzami tanked for nearly five minutes before he sighed and put in the chips to call.

Angelov turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for top pair and Khouzami went to muck his hand before the dealer forced him to show {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} as he handed over most of his stack.

Ukalaev Run Down on the River

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Emil Ukalaev moved all in for 35,500 before the flop as action folded around to Serhat Mert on the button.

"There are only two options," tablemate Gabi Livshitz said before Mert called. "That's one of them."

Emil Ukalaev: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Serhat Mert: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Mert was dominated as the board came {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, but the {q-Clubs} fell on the river to give him two pair and send Ukalaev to the rail.
