Ruche Lays it Down

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Daniel Shademanpour raised to 5,500 before Jean Claude Ruche made it 17,500. Shademanpour, from the hijack, then reraised to 32,500 as action went back on Ruche.

Ruche tanked for several minutes as he leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed considering the decision.

"You're a solid player," he eventually said, showing {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and tossing them into the muck. Shademanpour took the pot without showing.

Aydemir Folds Top Pair

Level 4 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Recep Aydemir bet 8,000 from early position before Natan Chauskin raised to 18,000 in the big blind.

Aydemir called as the {4-Hearts} fell on the river. Chauskin then moved all in for 75,000 and Aydemir tanked for several minutes before mucking {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

"Straight," he asked Chauskin, who silently took in the pot without showing.

According to the table, Aydemir had eliminated a player a few hands earlier with two kings against {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} as the board ran out {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Kapustin Bombs the River

Level 4 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 40,000 in the pot, Denis Kapustin bet 35,000 on a board of {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Vytautas Semaska called on the button.

The river came the {6-Clubs} and Kapustin paused for nearly a minute before he put in a bet of 95,000, covering Semaska's remaining 75,000.

Semaska went into the tank for several minutes before Kapustin called the clock. He eventually folded and Kapustin dragged in the big pot.

Kazantsev Makes a Fortunate Check

Level 4 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Artem Kazantsev bet 17,000 from the cutoff and Anatoly Korochenskiy called from under the gun.

The river came the {9-Spades} and Korochenskiy checked over to Kazantsev, who this time checked behind.

"Very fortunate check," Korochenskiy told him as he showed {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for the rivered nut flush. Kazantsev could only shake his head as he handed over the pot.

Moein Flips Kan to the Rail

Level 4 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ali Moein
Ali Moein

Daniel Montagnolli three-bet to 18,500 from the small blind and Ali Moein called in early position before Vadim Kan moved all in for 75,000 on the button.

Montagnolli folded, but Moein called after tanking for about a minute.

Vadim Kan: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Ali Moein: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Kan remained in front as the flop came {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, but Moein hit the {q-Clubs} on the turn to take the lead. The {q-Spades} on the river improved him to a full house and Moein sent Kan to the rail.

"You're welcome," Montagnolli told him after the hand as the table shared a laugh.

Recep Aydemir and Ivan Karatayeu were heads-up on the turn of a board showing {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} when Karatayeu moved all in.

Aydemir quickly called for his last 75,000 as Karatayeu showed {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the straight. Aydemir had {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and needed help heading to the river.

The river came the {9-Hearts} and Aydemir gave out a loud "Yes" after making his flush to double up.

Davut Aydemir admitted after the hand he folded kings earlier in the pot. "Good fold. Professional," the elder Aydemir replied.
