Sinclair Applies Pressure

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jack Sinclair opened to 35,000 from middle position and received a single customer in the form of Marat Gallyamov in the big blind.

Both players checked through the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop to the {8-Spades} turn at which point Gallyamov checked for a second time. Sinclair fired a delayed continuation of 35,000 which Gallyamov called.

The {k-Diamonds} river saw Gallyamov check for a third time and Sinclair, not willing to go to a cheap showdown, tossed 80,000 into the middle. Gallyamov thought for some time before eventually, with a "you're good", mucking.

Boris Smuskevicius

Boris Smuskevicius bet 50,000 on a board of {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} before Boris Angelov, next to act, raised to 180,000. Efraim Tavdi called the raise on the button while Smuskevicius let out a loud sigh before he also called.

The river came the {10-Spades} and all three players quickly checked. Smuskevicius turned over {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Angelov mucked. Tavdi took one last look at the board before he tossed away {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

"You're welcome," Angelov told Smuskevicius as he raked in the big pot.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Philippe Souki raised to 25,000 from early position and received three callers, including Denis Kapustin in middle position, Maroun Jazzar in the cutoff, and small blind Yury Bochkarev.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and action checked to Souki, who continued for 55,000. Only Kapustin called to the {k-Clubs} turn.

Souki now bet another 190,000 and Kapustin quickly called. The river came the {a-Hearts} and Souki announced he was all in for around 300,000.

Kapustin snap-folded as Souki took down the pot.

Elimelech Felled By Samavati

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A player opened to 25,000 from early position and was called by Navid Samavati in middle position. Action then folded around to Raz Elimelech in the big blind who moved the remainder of his short stack into the middle. The original raiser folded while Samavati called to put Elimelech at risk.

Raz Elimelech: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Navid Samavati: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Elimelech was behind but did have two live cards. Although he was able to pair up on the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades} runout, so did Samavati and with that Elimelech was sent to the rail close to the bubble.

Davut Aydemir
Davut Aydemir

Davut Aydemir raised to 35,000 from middle position before Daniel Montagnolli three-bet to 100,000 on the button. Aydemir called and they went heads-up to the {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop.

Both players checked and the {a-Clubs} fell on the turn. Aydemir now led out for 100,000 and Montagnolli came back with a raise to 325,000.

Aydemir quickly called to see the {6-Hearts} fall on the river, when Montagnolli moved all in. Aydemir, with 427,000 remaining, tanked for about two minutes before he called.

Montagnolli nodded his head in resignation as he turned over {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Aydemir had {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for a pair of aces as he earned the massive double up.

"I can't make that call. I can't," Recep Aydemir, watching his son on the rail, said.

Gavrilovich Calls With King-High, Gets There on the End

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Jenya Gavrilovich put out a bet in early position before Alexandru Papazian raised to 78,000 in the big blind.

Gavrilovich called to the {7-Diamonds} turn as both players checked. The river came the {k-Diamonds} and they checked it down.

Papazian turned over the {3-Hearts} first, followed by the {q-Hearts}. Gavrilovich showed {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a rivered pair of kings and Papazian could only shrug and watch the pot head in the other direction.

Reichenstein Four-Bet Jams

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Uri Reichenstein opened to 30,000 from the cutoff before Rytis Strigunas three-bet to 85,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Reichenstein who, after eyeing up his opponent for some time, moved all in. Strigunas, being asked to wager all of his substantial stack just a few spots off the money, quickly folded to send the pot over to Reichenstein.
