Charmed Life of Ivey

Phil Ivey started the day near the top of the counts but has been steadily dropping. After recently butting heads with Ryan D'Angelo, Ivey's stack had dwindled to about 110,000. Sitting in the small blind, Ivey called an under-the-gun raise to 14,000 from D'Angelo. Big blind Mike Beasley, wearing a hat that reads "ACES SUCK", also called.

turn. Beasley did not -- he bet 21,000, drawing a quick fold from D'Angelo. Ivey called.

Ivey moved in for his last 73,000. Beasley tanked for more than two minutes before calling. Ivey showed {A-Diamonds}

"You sure willed that river card," remarked D'Angelo. Ivey, as is his wont, said nothing. He's back up to about 235,000.
