Phan Approaching 100k

We're not sure when the money went in on this pot, but John Phan just doubled. There was about 33,000 in the pot and a board reading {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} as the dealer counted out the remainder of Phan's stack. Phan had {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} in front of him which was better than his opponent's {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Phan had a big stack as it was, but with that double he is up to around 95,000!

Deeb Lays Down a Full House

We caught the action on the river with a board reading {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and about 4,500 in the pot. Shaun Deeb had checked to Eric Baldwin who took his time before sliding his entire stack, which was over 40,000, into the middle.

Deeb seemed surprised by the bet yet tortured. Why would Baldwin bet so much into such a little pot? Deeb couldn't seem to figure it out and decided to err on the side of caution. He folded {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} face-up. He had flopped a boat. Baldwin didn't show so we'll never know if it was a good fold.

Bleznick Takes One

A player raised to 600 from under the gun and then Jared Bleznick reraised to 1,600 from middle position. He was called by a player in the next spot and then the original raiser called as well.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Bleznick. He fired 3,650 and that was good enough to win the pot.

One for the King

Carter King raised to 550 before Jim Anderson reraised to 1,500. If you don't know who Anderson is, he just recently won the first-ever $10,000 WSOP Circuit Regional Championship in Hammond, Indiana. Action folded back around to King and he made the call, bringing the two players to the flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. King checked and Anderson fired 1,700. King made the call.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {4-Diamonds} fall on the river. King led with a bet of 2,650 and Anderson mucked.

RoNasty Forced to Fold

Ronnie Bardah was involved yet again, this time raising preflop to 525 from middle position. He found two callers who had position on him and the flop came down {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Spades}. All three players checked and the turn brought the {A-Clubs}. Bardah fired 800 and the next player called. The other player folded.

After the {6-Spades} fell on the river, Bardah fired out 2,500. His opponent raised to 6,500 and Bardah tanked for a few minutes. He eventually tossed in his hand and didn't seem too thrilled about having to do so.
