Waiting On a Call From the Medic

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

In the cutoff seat, Joe Tehan raised it up to 13,500, and Christopher Kirkwood called on the button. Nenad Medic came along from the small blind, too, and it was three-handed to the flop.

It came {4-Hearts} {6-Spades} {8-Hearts}, and Medic took his pause. He eventually stacked up a bet of 28,000 and slid it forward, enough to quickly fold Tehan out of the way. Kirkwood, however, announced an all-in raise that covered his opponent. Medic had about 185,000 left in front of him, and he watched Kirkwood put the call into the pot with hands trembling as Medic eyed up his remaining stack. After several long minutes of soak time in the tank, Medic open-mucked his {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}, and Kirkwood takes it down.
