Coleman Busts Shebat With Kings Versus Kings

Samuel Laskowitz opened to 3,000 from middle position, Joyace Owens flatted the cutoff, and Chris Shebat jammed for 17,500 on the button. David Coleman called in the small blind and everyone else folded.

A chop was likely with all of the kings accounted for, but the 8♣7♣6♣ flop gave Coleman a freeroll. The 10♣ hit the felt on the turn to leave Shebat with a single out for the chop, but the Q♣ completed the board to eliminate him on the unfortunate runout.

The board read 7♠9♦Q♥J♣, and Byung Shin had checked in the big blind. Yu-Chieh Cheng shoved from under the gun for Shin to make the call with the bigger stack after considering it for a bit.

The river completed the board with the 2♥ for Shin to hold with the flopped pair of queens.

"Scared of jacks, huh?" Giuseppe Pantaleo remarked after Cheng had left the table.

"That was the first thing I thought, but then it didn't make sense," Shin responded before discussing the hand further, with some other table mates chiming in too.

With roughly 15,000 in the middle on a J♠9♥7♠2♣ board, Landon Tice checked in early position, and Nick Schulman bet 12,500 in the cutoff. Tice called.

The 4♥ landed on the river and Tice checked. Schulman moved all in for 25,000 and Tice quickly tossed his cards into the muck.

Kitty Kuo raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and Landon Tice made the call from the button. Anthony Zinno three-bet to 21,000 from the small blind for Nick Schulman in the big blind and Kuo to fold while Tice made the call.

The flop came 7♥2♠6♥ for Zinno to shove for 60,000 and for Tice to snap-call with the bigger stack.
