Michael Fenwick raised to 30,000 from the button, and when it folded to the big blind Isiah Ditoto, he three-bet all in for 253,000. Fenwick confirmed the count of Ditoto and said " I don't know why I'm nervous with this hand" then made the call to put Ditoto at risk.
Isiah Ditoto: J♥10♥
Michael Fenwick: A♠A♦
Ditoto ran straight into the aces of Fenwick, but after the 2♥K♥Q♠ flop Ditoto now had an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw as outs to crack the aces of Fenwick. The 4♥ on the turn left the aces of Fenwick drawing dead after Ditoto turned a flush, and the 9♣ on the river officially secured him the double up.
John Kostelac raised to 22,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to Brandon Hall on the button, he three-bet all in for 175,000. The big blind Dale Capuano made the call to put Hall at risk, as did Kostelac.
With Hall all in, the flop came Q♥2♦8♣ and Capuano moved all in for 222,000. Kostelac quickly called to put Capuano at risk.
Brandon Hall: J♦J♣
Dale Capuano: Q♠Q♣
John Kostelac: K♠K♣
Capuano flopped a set of queens to take the lead against the pocket kings of Kostelac, and the pocket jacks of Hall would need running cards to stay in the tournament. But when the turn came the 3♠ and the river was the 3♦, Capuano improved to a full house, to take a nearly million chip pot, and eliminate Hall in 18th place.
David Urban raised to 20,000 in the hijack, Michael Fenwick flatted in the cutoff, and Brandon Mueller three-bet to 72,000 on the button. Isiah Ditoto then cold four-bet shoved all in from the small blind. Urban and Fenwick folded and Mueller made the call, putting himself at risk.
Brandon Mueller: K♣K♦
Isiah Ditoto: A♠K♠
The board ran out J♠Q♣Xx10xXx, with Ditoto hitting the nut straight on the turn to send Mueller to the rail.
Action folded to Joseph Crowley on the button, and he raised before John Kostelac three-bet all in for 175,000. The big blind folded and Crowley made the call to put Kostelac at risk.
John Kostelac: 5♥5♣
Joseph Crowley: A♥J♣
It was a flip for Kostelac's tournament life, but after the board ran out 3♥A♦6♠2♥K♦ the pair of aces from Crowley were the best hand, and Kostelac was eliminated in 15th place.
Action folded to Parker Talbot in the hijack, and he raised to 20,000. It folded to the small blind Tim Faro, and he three-bet to 80,000. The big blind folded, and Talbot made the call to see a flop.
The flop came A♦5♠3♠ and Faro bet out 70,000, which Talbot called.
Both players checked after the 5♦ on the turn.
The river was the 9♦ and Faro checked to Talbot, who fired out 175,000. Faro spent nearly two minutes in the tank, before eventually finding a call.
Talbot told Faro "You're good" and Faro tabled Q♠Q♥ for a pair of queens, as Talbot mucked his hands to give Faro the pot.
Kevin Solomon moved all in from under the gun for about 110,000, putting himself at risk. Action folded around to Isiah Ditoto in the big blind, who made the call.
Kevin Solomon: K♥10♥
Isiah Ditoto: 5♥5♠
Ditoto remained in the lead on the 9♣8♥2♣ flop, but Solomon picked up additional outs on the J♦ turn. The 3♠ river offered no help to Solomon and he was sent to the payout desk.
Nicholas Banyas raised to 25,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to the big blind Xiaoqiong Liu, she three-bet all in for 122,000. Banyas got a count, then made the call to put Liu at risk.
Xiaoqiong Liu: 4♠4♦
Nicholas Banyas: 9♦8♦
Liu was at risk but ahead with her pocket fours, and when the board ran out J♣5♦K♣10♥4♥ Liu improved to a set of fours, and secured the double up.
