Komara Makes a Bigger Straight

Richard Herbert raised to 900 from early position and was called by the big blind Peter Komara.

The flop came K♣8♥J♠ and Komara check-called a bet of 600 from Herbert.

After the 4♦ on the turn Komara again check-called a bet of 2,700 from Herbert.

The river was the 7♣ and Komara led out for a bet 3,300. Then Herbert raised to 15,500, which Komara snap called.

Herbert showed 6♣5♣ for a straight, but Komara had the bigger straight when he showed 10♠9♦ to take the sizable pot.
