Malik Puts Zambanini to the Test

Shaan Malik raised to 600 in the cutoff and Matthew Zambanini three-bet to 1,700 on the button. Malik made the call.

The flop came 65J and Malik check-raised to 18,000 over Zambanini's bet of 1,100.

Zambanini took some time to think through his decision, but eventually gave up his hand.

Alexis Owings raised to 400 in middle position, Glenn Chernigoff flatted in the cutoff, and William Zgorski three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Owings and Chernigoff both called.

The flop of 2J6 checked through to the 10 turn. Owings checked, Chernigoff bet 2,200, Zgorski called, and Owings got out of the way.

The river landed the 2 and Chernigoff bet 3,500. Zgorski thought for a moment before putting in a single chip, signifying a call.

Chernigoff tabled J9 for two pair, jacks and deuces to scoop the pot.

Matthew Zambanini opened to 500 from middle position, and was called by Tavon Anderson on the button, and Shaan Malik in the big blind.

All three players checked after the 576 flop.

The turn was the J and Malik bet out 1,000, when Zambanini raised to 3,800. Anderson then chose to three-bet all in for about 27,000. The jam got Malik and Zambanini to fold, to give Anderson the pot.

The flop came 657 and after Lawson checked, Magness bet out 400. Nguyen folded, and Lawson made the call.

After the 7 turn, Lawson check-called a bet of 1,000 from Magness.

The river was the Q and after Lawson checked, Magness bet 2,800. Lawson gave the decision some thought, before making the call.

Magness tabled A8 for a missed straight draw, and ace high. Lawson then showed 54 for a pair of fives to take the pot.

Tarantino Chipping Up Early

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action was caught on a flop 1025 in a hand between David Tarantino in the cutoff and Andrew Parker on the button.

With about 1,500 in the pot, Tarantino check-called a bet of 1,100 from Parker.

The 6 turn and Q river both went check-check.

"Ace-king is no good bud," said Tarantino, as he flipped over A6 for a pair of sixes. Parker mucked his hand.

Parker Turns a Straight

Action folded to Justin Arnwine on the button, and he raised to 400. He was called by both Andrew Parker in the small blind, and Mohammed Anwary in the big blind.

All three players checked after the J73 flop, and 10 turn.

The river was the 6 and Parker bet out 1,100, which Anwary called, and Arnwine folded.

Parker then tabled 98 for a turned straight. Anwary mucked his hand and gave the pot to Parker.
