Moreno Keeps Climbing

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

Action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing between Justin Saliba in the cutoff and Andrew Moreno on the button.

With about 35,000 in the middle and the board reading J4499, Saliba checked and Moreno bet enough to put Saliba all in, who had 30,700 behind.

After using a couple time bank cards, Saliba made the call and saw the bad news when Moreno tabled pocket queens. Saliba showed pocket fives and exited the tournament area in order to rebuy.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Mario Colavita
Mario Colavita

Mario Colavita opened the action with a raise to 2,000, which was called by Nikolai Tulin in the small blind, and the big blind Michael Liang.

The flop came 952 and it was checked to Colavita who bet out 3,000. Tulin made the call, when Liang raised to 9,500. Colavita called, and Tulin folded to leave the players heads up.

After the 7 on the turn, Liang bet all in for his stack of 18,500, which was snap called by Colavita.

Michael Liang: K9 All in
Mario Colavita: 55

Liang flopped top pair, but was drawing dead against the set of fives of Colavita. The river was the K to officially give Colavita the pot, and eliminate Liang.
