Hager Flushes Wolf Out
Level 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Action folded Michael Hager in the cutoff, and when it folded to the big blind Michael Wolf, he made the call.
The flop came J♦3♠K♠ and Wolf checked to Hager, who bet all in for Wolf's last 90,000 chips. Wolf quickly made the call, to put himself at risk.
Michael Wolf: Q♠J♠
Michael Hager: A♠10♠
It was an action flop as Wolf flopped the second nut flush draw and a pair of jacks which was best at the moment. Hager also flopped a gut shot straight draw, and the nut flush draw. But when the turn came the A♣ Hager jumped out in front as he turned top pair, and when the river was the 2♠ both players made a flush, but it was Hager with the nut flush to take the pot and send Wolf to the payout desk.
