Day 1b of the $1,100 PSPC Event #2 at the Pennsylvania State Poker Championship has been completed at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia. The second of four flights had 82 entries, with 11 players advancing to Day 2. The chip leader at the end of the night was Nicholas Logue bagging 542,000.
Logue is a Philadelphia resident, who was able to bag the chip lead after winning a big hand late in the night after flopped a set of kings against his opponents' ace-king suited, to win a pot worth more than 400,000. Behind him on the leaderboard in second is Zachary Lament (484,000) and Julian Penza (408,000).

Two-time WPT winner Bin Weng was one of the 82 entries in the field and emerged as one of the chip leaders early into the day. But following the end of late registration, Weng lost the majority of his stack to a flopped ace high flush from WSOP Bracelet winner Andrew Porter, and was eliminated shortly after.
Edward Leonard punched the remaining 11 players' ticket into the money after he was all in and was dominated by Zachary Lament. He was unable to improve and was the unfortunate bubble boy.

Day 1c will start at the 100/100/100 blind levels, and will play 40-minute levels, with a 15-minute break after every three levels of play, and 60-minute dinner break after Level 9. Players will start with 40,000 in chips, and late registration will go until the start of Level 13. Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once 12.5% of the field remains, and those who bag will be in the money for Day 2.
Also up for grabs is a Gold Pass to the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event in November. PokerStars will be awarding the winner of this event the Gold Pass package, which includes travel, accommodation, and the $5,300 tournament buy-in.

The flop came A♣9♦7♠ and both players checked to the turn.
After the 7♣ on the turn, Cornman bet out 15,000, which Lament called.
Both players checked the river as well.
Lament tabled K♠K♦ for a pair of kings, but Corman had the winner with A♦J♦ for a pair of aces to take the pot.
