Logue Flops a Set of Kings to Knockout a Player

Level 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A player raised to 11,000 from early position, before Nicholas Logue three-bet to 51,000 from the hijack. After it folded back to the player in early position, he four-bet all in for 177,000. Logue quickly called to put the player at risk.

It was a cooler for the all-in player, as he ran into the pocket kings of Logue. Once the board ran out K♥7♣10♠4♠9♠ Logue improved to a set of kings to get the knockout.

Action folded to the small blind Sandeep Mathai, and he limped in. Morris Cornman checked his option in the big blind to see a flop.

Both players checked after the 7♥3♦3♣ flop.

The turn brought the J♥ and Mathai bet out 6,000, which was called by Cornman.

After the 8♦ on the river, Mathai bet 18,000. After spending over a minute debating his decision, Cornman made the call. Mathai tabled 10♥3♥ for trip threes to take the pot, as Cornman tossed his cards in the muck.

Meschel check-called a bet of 8,000 after the 2♣2♠Q♠ flop.

Both players checked after the 9♥ on the turn, and A♠ on the river.

Meschel turned over Qx10x for two pair, queens and tens, but Huynh had the winner when he tabled A♥10♥ for two pair aces and tens.

Julian Penza raised to 12,000 from under the gun, and Sarah Wasch in the cutoff made the call. Then Joseph Molitor in the small blind three-bet all in for 80,000. After the big blind folded, Penza tossed his hand into the muck as well, before Wasch called to put Molitor at risk.

Wasch was ahead with her pocket nines, but once the board ran out 7♠3♦3♣A♣8♣ Molitor had the best hand with two pair aces and threes, to secure the double up.
