A player in early position opened to 3,300 and Jessica Shu called in the hijack. The small blind called before the big blind player moved all in for 23,100. The initial raiser folded but Shu made the call.

Renli Puts Thomas in a Tough Spot

Leno Thomas raised to 4,500 from early position, and was called by a player in middle position, the small blind Liu Renli, and the big Blind Bin Weng.

The flop came 7♥K♦9♣ and it checked to Thomas, who bet out 12,000. The middle position player folded, Renli called, and Weng folded as well.

After the K♥ on the turn, both players checked.

The river was the J♥ and Renli bet out 40,000, which sent Thomas in the tank. After almost two minutes debating his decision, Thomas found the fold to give Renli the pot.

Roche Wins the Race in 5-Bet Pot

Dmitry Levi raised to 4,000 from early position, before Michael Daddario three-bet to 13,000 on the button. Then Kevin Roche four-bet to 32,000 from the small, and the player in the big blind sat in the tank. After about two minutes, another player at the table called the clock, which made the big blind irate. After arguing with the floor, the entirety of the clock countdown that he wasn't given enough time to make a decision, with one second left he five-bet all in for 75,000. Levi and Daddario both folded, and Roche quickly made the call to put the big blind at risk.

As soon as the cards were flipped over, Daddario told the tabled he folded pocket kings, worried someone had aces with all the pre-flop action. That was a break for the big blind, but he would still need to improve against the pocket queens of Roche. Once the board ran out 9♦6♦6♣9♥3♣ the pocket queens remained best, and the big blind was eliminated.

Virk continued for 12,000 on 4♣K♥5♥ before Urban raised to 42,000. Action was back on Virk and he moved all in for 122,000. Urban called all in for 111,000.
