Renkey on the Come Up After Taking Out Newman
Level 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Christian Renkey and Graeme Newman saw the turn on a board of 3♥10♥A♦7♠ when Newman bet 15,000 from the hijack. Renkey then moved all in from middle position.
"This would be the ultimate slowroll if you have aces," Renkey said to Newman, who tanked for several minutes before calling for his last 70,000.
Newman showed K♦K♠, but Renkey had A♣7♣ for top pair and secured the knockout once the Q♥ completed the board on the river.
"Right before break, I'm on the come up," Renkey said after the hand.
