The flop came 4♥7♦10♥ and Chidwick check-called a bet of 125,000 from Boivin, bringing the 6♠ turn.

Chidwick check-called again, this time for 275,000, and the river landed the 3♠.

Chidwick led out with a bet of 95,000 and Boivin thought for a brief moment before mucking his hand.

Stephen Chidwick open-jammed in the small blind and Cary Katz called off in the big blind with his remaining stack of around 500,000.

"Best case scenario!" Katz cheered when he saw Chidwick only had three outs. But the board ran out 6♠9♣9♥K♠5♥ and Chidwick paired his king to send Katz to the rail.

"I got robbed," he said glumly before shaking Chidwick's hand and heading to the payout counter.

The flop came 8♣8♦9♦ and it checked over to Katz who bet 100,000. Boivin folded and Chidwick called.

The 6♣ turn went check-check, bringing the 3♦ river where Chidwick bet 300,000.

Katz quickly called and saw the bad news that his 10♣9♣ was bested by Chidwick's 10♥7♠.

Stephen Chidwick raised to 520,000 in the small blind and Cary Katz announced "call" before tabling Q♣Q♦.

Katz still had 150,000 behind and went to the flop with his hand exposed. The flop absolutely smacked him as it landed 4♠Q♥J♦ to give him top set. Chidwick checked and Katz moved all in, giving Chidwick a trivial fold despite the excellent price.

"I just cost myself 150,000," said Katz before repeating his mantra about it being a "flesh wound" for Chidwick.

"I could've gotten there," Chidwick replied.
