Who Will Reach the Final Table on Day 5 of the NAPT Main Event
The penultimate day of the $5,300 NAPT Main Event is set up to be a fight to the finish as the 2025 PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas begins to wind down. There are just 16 players returning to the felt with their sights set on reaching the final table on Day 5. The largest portion of the $3,579,300 prizepool is still up for grabs and the winner will walk away with $653,050.
Leading the pack is Belgian poker pro and high-roller Thomas Boivin, who has undoubtedly the most experience and success among the remaining players. Boivin will enter the day with a stack of 3,365,000 after a wildly successful Day 4. With over $13 million in career earnings already, there is not much Boivin hasn't accomplished, but winning a major title is one of them.
Sitting not too far in the distance is another seasoned pro in Richard Green with 2,800,000 chips. While not the same numbers in terms of dollar value compared to his counterpart, Green has put up plenty of results over recent years and should be no stranger to the big stage. Rounding out the podium at the top of the leaderboard is Baurzhan Akimov with 2,595,000 chips. Akimov played one of the craziest hands on Day 4 which led to his surge up the leaderboard as he is now poised for a deep run.

The cards will go back in the air at 12 p.m. local time with around 31 minutes remaining in level 22 and the blinds resuming at 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 big blind ante. Afterward, the levels will continue to be 90 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after each level. The tentative plan for the day is to play down to the final six players who will return for the final day of this event which will be streamed on the PokerStars platforms.
Each player has already guaranteed at least $29,350 with pay jumps occurring every two eliminations going forward until the final table. At least $60,450 is guaranteed for reaching the final table, while the winner will be taking home 10 times that amount.
