In a battle between the blinds, Michael Berk bet 75,000 on a flop of 3♦9♣10♦ and Abdullah Akbarpoor called.
The turn was the 9♦ and Berk bet another 120,000. Akbarpoor called and the K♣ fell on the river. Berk then bet 175,000.
Akbarpoor used a few time banks before calling, and Berk showed 9♠8♥ for trips to win the pot.
Richard Green raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and was called by Gal Yifrach and Carl Shaw in the blinds. The flop came J♦9♥5♠ and the action checked around to the 8♦ on the turn.
Shaw was the first to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 110,000. Only Green called and the 10♥ landed on the river. Shaw checked this time and Green splashed in a bet of 310,000. Shaw used two of his time banks before looking him up.
"Nuts," Green announced as he rolled over K♦Q♦ for the nut straight and Shaw had to concede the pot.
Thomas Boivin limped in from the small blind before Baurzhan Akimov raised to 70,000 in the big blind. Boivin called and they saw a flop of 10♦9♦K♣.
Both players checked to the 10♠ turn, where Akimov bet 80,000. Boivin called and the 8♥ fell on the river. Akimov then bet 275,000, and Boivin folded this time.
Abdullah Akbarpoor raised to 40,000 in middle position, Mitch Garshofsky moved all in for 240,000 in the cutoff, and Akbarpoor snap-called.

"Good run," Garshofsky told his tablemates, already resigned to his fate after Akbarpoor turned over his kings. The board ran out 9♣6♦4♣2♣5♠ and Akbarpoor stayed in the lead to send Garshofsky to the rail in 20th place.
Evan Sandberg opened the action with a raise to 45,000 in early position. Kai Nicholls called on his left and Thomas Boivin three-bet to 210,000 on the button. Sandberg slid out a four-bet to 395,000, leaving just 5,000 behind. Nicholls quickly folded and Boivin announced all in. Sandberg was given five seconds to act and quickly called.

The flop came A♦2♥2♣ and Sandberg immediately rose from his seat after Boivin flopped a full house. The J♣ on the turn and the 8♠ on the river completed the board as Sandberg exited the tournament area.
Carl Shaw raised to 40,000 in the cutoff before Katherine Porrello three-bet to 80,000 in the big blind. Shaw called and they went heads-up to the J♦10♠10♥ flop.
Porrello continued for 100,000 and Shaw called. The turn was the 10♣ and Porrello slowed down and checked to Shaw, who bet 230,000. Porrello folded and Shaw took the pot.
Thomas Boivin raised to 40,000 in early position and Lucy Lamperouge shoved all in for 280,000 on the button. The action folded back to Boivin who instantly called.

Lamperouge had the better of the two pocket pairs and both of the suits covered. The board ran out A♦5♠2♣K♦9♠ and Lamperouge had the pot locked up by the turn.
