On the J♣9♥9♣ flop, action was checked to Kettula, who moved all in for 260,000. Haapaniemi called and Torres Jimenez folded.

Kettula had top pair but he was crushed versus Haapniemi's rockets, and the 9♠ turn left him drawing dead, the 10♠ river completing the board.

Kai Lehto opened to 50,000 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 155,000 from Jonatan Fors in the cutoff.

Action folded back to Lehto, who took some time for thought before four-bet jamming with the covering stack. Fors quickly got his 575,000 total stack into the middle.

Shamoun was in trouble, but he hit trips on the K♥5♦5♠ flop, and Suhonen could not alter matters on the 4♣ turn or J♣ river.

With 200,000 in the middle on a board of A♦9♦3♣Q♠, Jamil Shamoun check-called in the small blind, in the face of a bet of 135,000 from Quoc Ly under the gun.

The J♠ river completed the board, and Shamoun checked once more. Ly fired out a bet of 200,000, and Shamoun quickly called.

Ly tabled Q♥9♥ for the turned two pair, and Shamoun mucked with more than a hint of frustration.

Stankevics promptly got his 1,200,000 stack into the middle.
