Hao Tian shoved for 2,350,000 from early position and Jamil Wakil called from the hijack. After the rest of the table folded, the cards were tabled with Tian at risk of being the first elimination at the final table.

Tian was in rough shape against the Big Slick of Wakil and needed to find a queen to stay alive.

A flop of 4♥5♠4♦ gave Tian a few outs to chop the pot, but the J♣ turn meant Tian was one card away from hitting the rail. A 9♣ rolled off on the river, and Tian was out in ninth place.

Moussa Ahmad raised the button to 450,000 holding K♠J♣, and was immediately three-bet by Weiran Pu to 1,400,000 out of the small blind with A♣9♣. Ahmad continued with a call.

Pu started with a check on the 8♥J♦3♦ flop, and Ahmad fired out for 2,000,000. This was enough to get Pu to fold and the pot was sent Ahmad's way.

Check-check followed the 10♣A♥10♠ flop to see the A♦ hit the turn. Pu checked again, then called a bet of 300,000 from Wakil.

Pu checked for the last time on the 5♣ river, and Wakil bet 1,475,000. Pu thought about how to proceed before deciding to fold, and Wakil won another pot.

Kiwisch didn't act straight away, but instead burned through a time bank before announcing a four-bet to 1,800,000. Yankov folded, and Kiwisch pulled in his first pot.

Kiwisch knuckled the action over to Ahmad on the 5♣3♠5♦ flop, and Ahmad fired a continuation-bet of 700,000. This was enough to get Kiwisch to lay his hand down, surrendering the pot to Ahmad.

Orhan Ates, who started as the shortest stack today, picked up A♦9♦ in the hijack and decided to go for it by committing his entire stack of 1,920,000.

Everyone folded, which allowed Ates to add some precious chips to his stack.

The very next hand, Ates jammed from middle position for 2,320,000 holding A♦Q♥ and picked up the blinds.
