A Fortunate Four Falls For Fritz

Level 7 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Manuel Fritz
Manuel Fritz

Manuel Fritz min-raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Matthias Eibinger three-bet the button to 110,000. When it got back to Frtiz, he four-bet jammed for 590,000, and got instantly called by Eibinger.

Manuel Fritz: A4 All in
Matthias Eibinger :AK

Eibinger's Big Slick had Fritz dominated preflop, but the 495 flop propelled Fritz into the lead with a pair of fours. Eibinger couldn't find a king to take back the lead on the 8 turn or 2 river, meaning Fritz doubled up.

Klein Hits the Rail; Immediately Reenters

Level 7 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Morten Klein
Morten Klein

Morten Klein made it 50,000 from the hijack, and Matt Moss three-bet to 160,000 out of the small blind. Klein four-bet ripped it for 680,000, which Moss called.

Morten Klein: 99 All in
Matt Moss: QQ.

Klein was in rough shape against the higher pair of Moss, and was poised to be headed to the exit unless he could find a nine. There was no nine for Klein on the 86255 runout, and all of his chips were sent over to Moss.

Klein immediately reentered and is sitting with a fresh starting stack of 1,000,000.

Adamszki Gains Some More Chips

Level 7 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

From the cutoff, Leonard Maue made it 40,000 to go and only Tamas Adamszki defended from the big blind.

Adamszki knuckled the action over to Maue on the Q24 flop, and Maue continued with a bet of 25,000. Adamszki continued with a call.

Check-check came after the A turn, and the 2 rolled off on the river. Adamszki bet 60,000, which was enough to cause Maue to ponder briefly before folding his cards.

The River Card Saves MacDonald

Level 7 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Nick Schulman made it 40,000 under the gun before Tom MacDonald, who had just lost the majority of his stack to Danny Tang in the previous hand, jammed for 265,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Schulman, he instantly called.

Tom MacDonald :AJ All in
Nick Schulman: QQ

MacDonald needed to find an ace to beat the Ladies of Schulman.

The 7108 flop offered MacDonald a straight draw, and the J turn gave him even more outs to survive. MacDonald found one of those outs on the Q river by improving to a flush to earn the double-up through Schulman.
