Vaskaboinikau Gets a Full Double With One Pair

Level 1 : Blinds 4,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

There were already around 160,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 84Q when Ville Wahlbeck checked from from the small blind and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau tapped the table from the big blind. "Dubai Police" was under the gun and bet 80,000, which only Vaskaboinikau called.

A 7 hit the turn and Vaskaboinikau moved all in for 278,000, which "Dubai Police" called after some time in the tank.

"Dubai Police": AK95

Vaskaboinikau was ahead with his pair of eights, and the 2 river was as bricky as they come, which meant he got the double-up he needed after a slow start.

Schulman Still Down Despite Full House

Level 1 : Blinds 4,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nick Schulman raised from under the gun to 16,000 and got a call from Eelis Parssinen in the cutoff. Richard Gryko also called from the big blind.

On the 783 flop, all three checked to the 10 turn, where Gryko bet 15,000. Schulman and Parssinen both called to see the 8 pair the board on the river.

The three players all knuckled to a showdown, where Schulman showed a boat with 7743 to scoop the pot.

Despite that win, Schulman is still down from the starting stack as he has around 700,000 in front of him, while Ben Lamb across the table has around 1,300,000.

Chun-Yin Drags an Early Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 4,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Armin Ghojehvand made it 15,000 to go from under the gun and Keith Lehr three-bet to 68,000 from the button. Kevin Chun-Yin cold-called from the big blind, and Ghojehvand also called.

Despite three players being involved in the three-bet pot, it was checked to the river on the K84510 board, where when it got to Lehr, he fired 100,000. Chun-Yin called, and Ghojehvand folded.

Lehr then showed a flush with Q1097, but that was no good as Chun-Yin had a bigger flush with KQJ10.

Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10 on Day 2, while eliminated players may reenter within 60 minutes of busting, with those going out in Level 8 on Day 1 having the option to return before play begins on Day 2.
