The $102,000 Onyx SHRS PLO Invitational gets underway at 4 p.m. today as part of the 2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series presented by Onyx Club at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa in Northern Cyprus. This prestigious three-day event will showcase some of the world’s most accomplished Pot-Limit Omaha specialists alongside a select group of invited guests, culminating on Wednesday, August 21, when one player will be crowned champion.
As with the NLH Invitational earlier in the series, the PLO edition comes with its own exclusive format. All players must be seated from the first hand, with chips in play immediately. The field will remain separated for the first 12 levels, with invited players competing against each other and pros doing the same.
After Level 12, a full redraw will mix the groups into combined tables. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10 on Day 2, while eliminated players may reenter within 60 minutes of busting, with those going out in Level 8 on Day 1 having the option to return before play begins on Day 2.
