Wahlbeck First to Hit the Rail

Level 2 : Blinds 4,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ville Wahlbeck
Ville Wahlbeck

A huge pot just went Mikalai Vaskaboinikau's way, which left Ville Wahlbeck extremely short-stacked.

There was a raise to 12,000, which Wahlbeck called from the small blind before Vaskaboinikau made it 50,000 to go from the big blind. The initial raiser called, then Wahlbeck made it 240,000. Vaskaboinikau then bumped it up to 780,000, the initial raiser folded, and Wahlbeck called.

The flop came 474, where Wahlbeck checked and Vaskaboinikau shoved 268,000. Wahlbeck took some time, but eventually felt like he had to call with the slightly covering stack.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: AA103 All in
Ville Wahlbeck: AKJ3

Wahlbeck was hoping for some miracle, but the 4 turn left him drawing dead as Vaskaboinikau had a full house. The meaningless J hit the river, and Wahlbeck was left with around 50,000. Shortly after, he was eliminated.

Rafael Pots the River; Ding Over Two Million

Level 2 : Blinds 4,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sean Rafael
Sean Rafael

Over in the pro world, there were around 600,000 in the middle on a 24JKQ board when Dirk Gerritse had checked from the small blind and Lautaro Guerra also knuckled the table out of the big blind.

Sean Rafael had then potted it from the cutoff, which after some tanking, earned two folds from his opponents.

On the other side of the room in invitee land, Kirk Steele opened the button to 15,000 and Biao Ding called in the small blind. David Nicholson also came along in the big blind.

They all checked the 582 flop to the 8 turn, where when it got to Nicholson, he bet 30,000. That was enough to earn the pot as both Steele and folded.

Ding won't mind too much, though, as he is up to around 2,200,000 in the early stages.

Level 2 : Blinds 4,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ville Wahlbeck made it 15,000 from under the gun and "Dubai Police" called on the button. "Je7" also called from the small blind.

On the Q83 flop, it checked to Wahlbeck, who bet 30,000. Onlly "Je7" called to the J turn, where both checked.

A 9 fell on the river and "Je7" reached for chips and threw out 76,000, which was enough to earn him the pot as Wahlbeck folded.

After that hand, "Je7" is up to around 1,500,000.

Bujtas Takes One; Tang Up Early

Level 2 : Blinds 4,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Dirk Gerritse limped the button and Lautaro Guerra called in the small blind, before they both called a raise of around 20,000 from Laszlo Bujtas, who was in the big blind.

All three checked the 65K flop and when the A hit the turn, Bujtas fired 52,000 when it got to him. That was enough to win the pot as his two opponents folded.

Danny Tang is on the same table and has around 1,400,000 in front of him.

Chun-Yin's Trips No Good Against the Flush of "Samba"

Level 2 : Blinds 4,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kevin Chun-Yin
Kevin Chun-Yin

"Samba" made it 20,000 to go from the button and Kevin Chun-Yin called in the big blind.

On the A43 flop, Chun-Yin check-called a bet of 20,000 from "Samba" to see the K turn, where again he check called when "Samba" bet 50,000.

An A hit the river and both players decided to check it down, with Chun-Yin announcing that he had an ace. That was no good, though, as "Samba" flipped a flush with K1076 to scoop the pot.
