Lamb Bets Out Ivey on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and Phil Ivey called in the big blind.

They saw a flop of A72, where Ivey check-called a bet of 25,000 from Lamb to see the 8 turn. Again Ivey checked, and again Lamb bet, this time for 75,000. Ivey took around 15 seconds before he called.

A K completed the board and after Ivey checked for a third time, Lamb put out 190,000. Ivey leant back in his chair and while he mulled it over, but did eventually fold, forfeiting the pot to Lamb.

Level 4 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau had built up a stack of around 4,500,000, that's around 450 big blinds!

Looking around the room, Sergey Grigoryan has no chips in front of him and is out, and "Dubai Police" is back in the game.

Wahlbeck Gets Back on Track

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ville Wahlbeck is back in after being felted earlier, and took down a small pot at showdown to get things moving in the right direction.

Armin Ghojehvand opened the cutoff to 25,000 and Wahlbeck called on the button to see the 674 flop. Both checked to the 2 turn, where Ghojehvand bet 35,000 and Wahlbeck called.

A 2 paired the board on the river and Ghojehvand checked it over, then he faced with a bet as Wahlbeck bet 60,000. Just a few seconds later, Ghojehvand called.

Wahlbeck then flipped KQQ2 for trip deuces, and that was enough to win the pot as Ghojehvand mucked.

Gerritse Sticking Around

Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Danny Tang called on the button. Dirk Gerritse was in the small blind and shoved 94,000, which only Bujtas called.

Dirk Gerritse: QJ65 All in
Laszlo Bujtas: 9887

A flop of QAK was pretty good for Gerritse, but he had to dodge clubs as Bujtas had a flush draw. No clubs appeared on the 26 runout, and Gerritse managed to stay alive.
