Players are heading on their last break of the day.
When they return, one more level will be played before the survivors bag up for the night.
Cong Pham opened to 56,000 from under the gun and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau called in the small blind. "Samba" also called from the big blind.
The flop came 2♦J♥K♥ and when it checked to Pham, he bet 60,000. Vaskaboinikau was the only one to call and saw the 9♥ fall on the turn, which checked through.
A 5♦ hit the river and Vaskaboinikau led for 175,000, which was enough to earn him the pot as Pham folded.

It seems only 14 invitees are still remaining, with all chip counts below. There is still time for a few of them to reenter, but that window is closing quickly.

With around 120,000 in the pot on a 9♣10♦Q♦ flop, Samuli Sipila checked from the cutoff and then called a bet of 40,000 from Phil Ivey, who was on the button.
A 2♠ on the turn checked through to the 6♣ river, which again checked around. Sipila then showed A♦10♠6♦5♣ for two pair, and Ivey mucked.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau recalled the hand that sent his stack soaring, and Rob Yong to the rail.
Yong and Vaskaboinikau both limped and then called a pot-sized raise from the small blind.
The flop came 9♣6♣Ax and the small blind led for 75,000. Yong called, Vaskaboinikau raised to 350,000, the small blind folded, and Yong called.
A 3x on the turn saw Yong check-call a bet of 700,000 from Vaskaboinikau to the 8x river. Yong shoved for around 1,500,000, and Vaskaboinikau snap-called.
Yong showed two pair with Ax9x, but Vaskaboinikau held 10x9x7x7x with two clubs for the nuts.
Easy game.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau has so many chips he doesn't even know what to do with them.
He probably has around 8,300,000, but even he wasn't sure.
"I also want to calculate, but I don't know how," Vaskaboinikau said.
That's a good problem to have....

Level 6 has just kicked off, which is the penultimate level of the day.
The original plan was to play eight levels, but one has been knocked off.
Back in April, the inaugural $10,400 Merit Millions Event saw Boris Kolev rising above a talented field of 212 entries to become the first-ever champion. Held inside the stunning Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, the unique event ended with Kolev capturing the coveted title and the massive $1,000,000 guaranteed top prize.
Kolev, who began the final table third in chips, put on a clinical display to systematically dismantle his opponents on the way to victory. In doing so, he became the first player in Merit Poker history to walk away with a seven-figure payday. The Bulgarian pro made quick work of Mehdi Chaoui in a brief heads-up battle to seal the title and etch his name in the record books.
