Daniel Rezaei raised to 25,000 from the hijack and Fahredin Mustafov defended his big blind.

Kenar Shows a Bluff; Yilmaz Shows Top Pair

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Heads-up to the river on a completed board of A67QK and with around 350,000 in the pot. Kenar was first to act from the small blind and decided to shove. The shove was for Vedat Yilmaz's remaining 180,000, and after thinking it over for quite some time from the cutoff. Yilmaz folded.

Kemar immediately let out a sigh of relief and flipped over abluff with 98.

A few hands later, Yilmaz made it 35,000 under the gun and Kenar three-bet to 80,000 from the cutoff. Yilmaz called to see a flop.

Yilmaz led all in for 99,000 upon seeing the 8JK flop. Kenar laughed and returned his cards to the dealer.

Kenar asked Yilmaz to show a bluff, but instead, Yilmaz showed top pair with the K.

Kulev Finds a Call Against Kanme; Iakobishvili Increases His Lead

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Alex Kulev
Alex Kulev

Alex Kulev raised to 24,000 under the gun, Raoul Kanme three-bet to 65,000 in early position, and Kulev called.

The flop came KJ10 and Kanme bet 40,000. Kulev called, and the J fell on the turn.

Kulev then led out for 44,000 and Kanme called. The river was the A and Kulev bet another 105,000. Kanme then raised to 300,000, and Kulev spent several minutes in the tank before calling.

Kanme showed AK for two pair, but Kulev had KQ for a straight to win the big pot. A tournament official then arrived to move him to a new table.

"Hit-and-running us, huh," Mehdi Chaoui joked.

At another table, Christophe Panetti was all in for 220,000 from the hijack and up against Gha Iakobishvili in the cutoff.

Gha Iakobishvili: AK

Iakobishvili had Panetti dominated, and the 1051010Q board earned him the knockout to send his stack up past 2,000,000.

Not long after the cards got in the air, Kirill Shcherbakov jammed for 17,000 from the hijack. Daniil Kiselev gave Shcherbakov some protection by making it 30,000 from the button, and after everyone else folded, the cards were turned over.

Shcherbakov had the chance to triple up; however, the K8523 board proved unfavorable to him as Kiselev hit a king to win the pot.

Kiselev pulled in the pot, and Shcherbakov was the first elimination of the day.
