When it folded to Maksim Shornikau in the small blind, he immediately jammed for 855,000, and Alex Kulev called in the big blind.

Maksim Shornikau raised to 160,000 in the cutoff before Fahredin Mustafov moved all in from the big blind with A♠Q♣. Shornikau folded A♣4♠.

A few hands later, Shornikau again opened to 160,000 under the gun with A♥J♦ and Alex Kulev called in the hijack holding A♦Q♣.

The flop came 9♥6♣5♣ and Shornikau continued for 240,000. Kulev called, and they both checked the 8♠ turn.

The 7♦ river put a straight on the board as Shornikau checked over to Kulev, who shoved all in.

"Floor, am I allowed to go to the bathroom while he's tanking. I really have to go?" Kulev yelled out to tournament officials as Shornikau went deep into the tank pondering the decision for his last 1,105,000. He burned through multiple time banks, but ended up surrendering the pot to Kulev.

Iakobishvili continued for 185,000 and Roiter called. Both players checked the K♦ turn, and the 10♠ fell on the river.

Iakobishvili then bet 400,000, and Roiter used a time bank before calling once more. Iakobishvili could only show Q♥4♠ for a pair of fours, while Roiter had 10♣7♣ for a pair of tens to win the pot.
