Gabdullin then bet 130,000, and Shornikau again called to see the K♠ river where Gabdullin moved all in.

Shornikau had 540,000 remaining and burned through multiple time banks before sending his cards back to the dealer.

Istvan Birizdo raised from middle position to 60,000, and Alex Kulev three-bet the cutoff to 165,000. Birizdo jammed for around 900,000 when it got back to him, and Kulev quickly called.

Birizdo's pocket jacks stayed ahead through the 10♣6♥4♣ flop and 6♣ turn. Kulev needed to connect with the river, and he managed to do so when the K♦ rolled off to give him a pair of kings.

Kulev's stack grew to over four million, and Birizdo was gone in 14th place.

Chaoui Wins a Small Pot; Shornikau Raises Gabdullin

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya completed from the small blind and Mehdi Chaoui made it 100,000 to go from the big blind. Skhulukhiya stuck around with a call.

They both checked a board of 5♠J♣9♣3♠6♣ all the way to the river, then after Skhulukhiya checked for the last time, Chaoui bet 135,000. Skhulukhiya gave Chaoui a suspicious look before sliding his cards back to the dealer.

Then, Maksim Shornikau raised under the gun to 60,000 and Damir Gabdullin defended from the big blind.

Check, check came after the J♥4♠6♦ flop and the 5♠ fell on the turn. Gabdullin led out 50,000, and was met by a raise to 180,000 from Shornikau. Gabdullin quickly folded.

Roiter checked again when the 9♠ arrived on the turn, and Gabdullin gathered together a bet of 375,000. Roiter paused briefly before calling.

The 4♣ on the river checked through and Roiter turned over top pair with J♣8♣. Gabdullin had that beat with K♦K♠ for an overpair and he added even more chips to his stack.
