Pansier Just Calls the River
Level 18
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
"Nino, I just saw on PokerNews 'Nino Pots the River.' Never 'Nino Checks Back," Youness Barakat shouted out to Nino Pansier.
"That was a bluff, to be honest," Pansier replied.
Justin Steinbrenner then raised to 210,000 on the button, Pansier reraised to 690,000 in the small blind, and Steinbrenner called.
The flop came Q♣3♣2♣ and Pansier continued for 300,000. Steinbrenner quickly folded.
Joni Jouhkimainen then raised to 210,000 under the gun and Pansier called on the button. Both players checked to the river on a board of 6♥5♥7♣A♥3♣, when Jouhkimainen bet 125,000. Pansier called, and Jouhkimainen showed A♦Q♣Q♠3♠ for two pair to win the pot.
