Pansier Drills a Boat in a Massive Pot
Level 28
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Nino Pansier called from the button before Justin Steinbrenner raised to 1,500,000 from the big blind. Pansier called, and the dealer fanned out the 3♦6♣3♠ flop.
Steinbrenner continued for 2,000,000 and was met by a raise to 5,000,000 from Pansier. Steinbrenner elected to call.
A 7♦ landed on the turn, causing Steinbrenner to check. Pansier announced a bet of 3,000,000, which Steinbrenner called.
The 6♥ completed the board and Steinbrenner checked. Pansier looked back at his cards, then jammed for 7,950,000. Steinbrenner burned through a couple of time banks before sliding in the call.
Pansier flipped up a turned boat with 7♠7♣4♠2♦, earning him a full double-up as Steinbrenner tabled A♠A♣J♠9♣ for a pair of aces.
